Child Psychotherapist Keath Low quoted from the ADDitude Wikipedia webpage describes ADDitude Magazine as “The happy, healthy lifestyle magazine for people with ADD.” 

I like this resource because they include alternative and Natural Treatments including diet and nutrition, vitamins and minerals, mindfulness and meditation, and exercise and nature time.

 

 Experiences of ADHD-Labeled Kids Who Leave Typical Schooling

In the article “Experiences of ADHD-Labeled Kids Who Leave Typical Schooling” Peter Gray, Ph.D in Psychology Today asked for stories about kids who were diagnosed with ADHD that were  taken out of conventional schooling and discusses the results.

I found this article interesting but not surprising given the fact children instinctually want to learn about the world around them. I place this article here to give another, more positive view on children who have attention issues. I am not endorsing one method over another, I just want to expose people to alternative educational options and how they effect children’s interests in learning,
